About Dr. Giamberardino
Dr. Giamberardino (Dr. G) moved from Minnesota to Colorado in 2005 to study at the University of Denver where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with research distinction; majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry, Medical Physics, and Business Administration. While in college, Dr. G lived abroad in Australia, Mexico, and Guatemala, working on a variety of environmental research projects before transitioning into the medical field as a clinical researcher for projects related to bleeding disorders and perinatal stroke.
Dr. G completed her medical school and residency training at the University of Colorado where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also earned the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Excellence Award, American Urogynecologic Society Award in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Ronald S. Gibbs Award for Distinguished Research, and Chief Resident of the Year Award from both Denver Health Hospital and the University of Colorado Hospital. She practices as full-time faculty at UCHealth Highlands Ranch and provides full scope gynecologic and obstetric care.
Dr. G has special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, breastfeeding medicine, preventative medicine, and ultrasonography as well as adolescent, menopausal, and LGBTQ+ care. She enjoys building close, collaborative relationships with her patients and uses evidence-based medicine to drive her practice.
