About Dr. Ward
Dr. Ward studied at Drury University in Missouri where she completed a double major in Biology and Chemistry while also being a part of three NCAA National Championships in swimming. In 2011, she moved to Colorado to study at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where she earned her MD. In her first year of medical school, she earned the Walter Byers NCAA scholarship for her postgraduate and community work and was a finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year.
Dr. Ward then stayed in Colorado to complete her residency at the University of Colorado from 2015 to 2019 where she earned the resident awards for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology as well as the 2019 Outstanding Resident in Gynecologic Oncology. She then joined the faculty at UCHealth as an OB-GYN in Highlands Ranch.
Dr. Ward has special interests in minimally invasive surgery, quality improvement, nonopioid pain management and improvement in health disparities.
